What Plants Will We See at the Madison Fling?

What plants will be blooming and peaking during the Fling? We don’t know for sure, but we touched on a few of the likely stars in our FAQ post back in October. And we thought it might be helpful to share some of the plant lists from several of our host gardens.

Olbrich Botanical Gardens shares plant lists by seasons that can be found in its Autumn Meadow.

Allen Centennial Garden provides a virtual map that you can click on to find information about plants in various locations.

Rotary Botanical Gardens offers this beautiful video of its grounds and plant collections.

UW-Madison Arboretum shares its list of native plant species, some of which will be blooming and peaking during our visit.

This is just a little tease. Our private gardeners will have so many amazing displays, too. And the end of June is a beautiful time of year to visit Southern Wisconsin, for the plants, the weather, and so many other reasons.

The Fling is just around the corner! If you’re signed up, we can’t wait to see you! If not, we still have room on our second bus. To sign up, visit this link.
